Project overview
The Sarsen Stone Group’s ambition is to make homes more beautiful and valuable with the finest natural, responsibly sourced stone and skilfully crafted tiles.
As one of the UK’s leading stone and tile companies, they hold 97% of their stock in UK warehouses, meaning that they can facilitate quick turnarounds on projects. Recent business growth has led to the expansion of their distribution centre in Melksham, Wiltshire, where they house their bulk stock ready to pick and pack to send around the UK and the world.
As a business, they had responded to the increasing volatility in the supply chain by increasing their stock holding, and they soon realised they also needed to expand their storage capacity. Essentially, they were looking for a building solution that was quick to install and also wanted the flexibility to move this storage facility in the coming years if the need arose.
As a business, we take a hands-on approach to all projects and provide a service built around each customer’s individual needs. Since Sarsen are just down the road from us, our hands-on approach was especially hands-on and we took advantage of the proximity with frequent visits and project update meetings on site. While we aim to forge a transparent and approachable relationship with all of our clients from the offset, it was a pleasure to have the opportunity for more face-to-face interaction after the recent years on zoom.
“Working with Copri systems was straightforward. The quick, efficient communication with Rafe and the team meant that the project was delivered on time and as exactly as required.” Matt McMahon, COO The Sarsen Group
